Billy Sheehan Attitude Bass Day at Yamaha Burbank with Phil X and Russ Miller 9/15/2012

Huge thanks to Yamaha, Billy, Phil X, Russ Miller  and everyone else involved for one of the most enjoyable days I’ve ever had.   Everyone in attendance was treated like royalty at this incredible event.    It was wonderful to be able to interact with Billy – he was so generous with sharing his knowledge, talent and instruments.  What a treat it was to be able to try out some of the legendary basses he’s played over the years.    I can’t think of anything else that would top how cool of a time this was.   Wonderful people, great food and drinks, nice prizes, incredible playing – it was unbelievable – truly the experience of a lifetime!!

Here are 3 pages of recaps for the event:       BILLY’S Q&A, BILLY, PHIL AND RUSS PERFORMING, and RAFFLE PRIZE WINNERS.

It was a real pleasure to meet Ham, who came all the way from Korea with his Attitude bass for this event.   I wish we could have hung out longer…

I immediately recognized Mike from the That Metal Show promo.  And Mark is the stage manager for Grand Funk Railroad.  Cool dudes- I really enjoyed talking to them about concerts , music and TV.

It was also cool hanging with Daniel, Max and Mike.   I hung out with Max and Daniel later on at the Rainbow- it was a fun way to recap all the fun from the day!
