QUEEN EXTRAVAGANZA CLUB NOKIA JUNE 25,2012

Wow. I knew this show was going to be good, but I had no idea it would be the best show I’ve seen this year by far. From the moment they took the stage, Jeff Scott Soto’s powerful vocal performance and the band completely rocked the Queen tunes. The show featured different singers who all contributed to the intense vocal harmonies. With 4 incredible vocalists and the band adding backing vocals, these songs sound unbelievably good. The band was on fire. The bass player had a smile on his face the entire show as added the low end. One of the guitarists did a full flip while performing a really good guitar solo. That was beyond impressive. The drum solo was massively entertaining. Two funny things did happen- there was a failed “guitar spin”, where the strap got stuck and caused a momentary guitar problem and the drummer broke a snare head- that’s how hard he was rocking. Hats off to the musical director for such a solid and smooth production. If you get a chance, you must see this show. I didn’t think cover bands could be this incredible, but this group definitely deserves the full Queen endorsement and does justice to every Queen song they perform. Incredible.
